Logan Alles, Nathan Ballard, Ben, Rick and WIll Boelter, Emma Daggeman, Creighton Blain

1 Peter 3:15

but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

Welcome to the first day! It is a big adventure loaded with travel and orientation to new surroundings. We often think the trip begins on this day but the truth is we are always on a mission with Jesus to speak love to others. Pray for our missionaries be open their eyes to opportunities and be bold in their witness.

Saturday, June 24

Wylie Boelter, Colin Davis, Susan Dawood, Nick Frigerio, Linda Gleason, Kenny Weander, Austin Brady

Psalm 96:3

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all people.

Now that we are settled in the work begins on preparing the supplies and resources for the 4 houses and the VBS presentation. Pray for the missionaries to give glory to God in all their work.

Sunday, June 25

Andy and Jamie Winter, Emily and Laura Gaskell, Kira and Pete Heintz, Caleb Kotowski

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Sabbath – a day of rest and renewal. This is celebrated a little differently in Mexico as we focus on faith and family. Pray for the missionaries for their witness to the congregation they are partnering with as they worship with them today as well as their first opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children.

Monday, June 26

Gary Kilvinger, Elijah Ligrow, Mike Long, Katie Matus, Josh Mrosko, Aly Mueller, Cheyenne Otten

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

And the work begins! Finally, the hammers are swinging and things start to come together. We pray for safety and patience as many missionaries are doing new things. Protection from the sun and elements and opportunities to discover new skills in themselves and others.

Tuesday, June 27

Michayla Goedeken, Laura Mueller, Hunter Sadler, Magdalene, Lori and Andrew Sansoucie

Matthew 28:19-20

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Relationships are forming with the people in the neighborhoods and home sites as well as not to mention with each other. Pray for the LORD to bind people together in faith to witness and speak love. Today will also be an opportunity to share with the children in the neighborhood as well as gift them with rice and beans. May doors and hearts be opened to the message of Jesus.

Wednesday, June 28

Paul and Ethan Christian, Jack and Jon Schumacher, Ben and Scott Seefeld

Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Often a day that fatigue sets in yet a day that the final push is on! Pray for stamina, resilience and joy to fill the hearts of the missionaries that their work may come to completion well.

Thursday, June 29

Carlie Smith, Claire and Alexander Wille, Valerie Yurk, Craig Risor, David Nunez

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. The long travel home including border crossing begins. Many delays could potentially happen that are out of our hands. Pray for a clear and safe passage. Today the missionaries are blessing their families and hosts for their time with them and the gifts they left them. May their relationships be cemented until we all see each other again in heaven!
