Brookfield Lutheran Church in Brookfield, WI and Our Savior’s Lutheran in Norfolk, NE are teaming together to serve the people of Tijuana, Mexico with the love of Jesus Christ. From June 23-30, the team plans to build 4 houses and lead Vacation Bible School for the neighborhood children.  Together, the team is comprised of 46 adults and high school students who are ready to see what God has in store for them and the people of Tijuana.

 

When facing great opposition in the early church, Jesus’ disciples Peter and John said, “We cannot be quiet. We must tell people about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20). It is with this uncontainable nature of the message of salvation through Christ that the team enters into this journey. The missionaries desire to share the treasure of Jesus through words and actions as they partner with the people of Tijuana, Mexico.
